     All the way up to college Microsoft Word has been the go to when it comes to writing papers. I have always used it and have become quite familiar with it. I loved it when I was younger because I did not have to write my essays and papers by hand. It also kept my papers nice and clean. With that I have mainly only used the application for papers and such. But I have also used it for creating resumes and charts. Though I rarely use it for those tasks, the application is very convenient. With my teachers using the application, I have only really noticed them using it to give us notes or use it to lectures. I have rarely ever seen teachers use it to write papers because I have always been the one having to write the assignment and turn it in to them.
     I have received many lectures from teachers about copyright and plagiarism. From the student side I have never broke any rules in disobeying the laws and standards set for them. I have always been warned to not cheat and to always give credit if I did include someone else works. This is really fair to me because the person who created and published the work should always have the credit when someone decides to use their work and learn from it. As a teacher I would always give credit if it came from a website, article, or even a course book. I would also tell the students to do the same. I would make sure they knew the consequences of using another work. It is never right to take credit for work and ideas that are not your own, therefore I would make sure that everyone in class knew that and to either stay away from it or cite their findings.
     A solution I would propose for academic dishonesty is to make sure the students know to always cite their work. I would make sure they know how to do that for starers. I would also lecture on how to quote works and reword the material so it is not just copying and pasting whole paragraphs from another made piece. For cyber bullying, I would make sure they all knew what it was. I would let them know that everything online can be seen and to make sure they treat others with respect. They should never hurt the feelings of another person. I would also show them articles of the effects of the past when people cyber bully and how that can affect ones life in a drastic way. Lastly, a solution to not infringe copyright. I would make sure they would never use another persons work with out the permission of that person. It really is stealing someones work so I would stress that to them. I would make sure they read and analyze a piece to make sure they do not use it to benefit them. So if they knew what copyright and the laws that go with it were then they would be sure to stay away from it and not take someones work and ideas.

ILP "Participation"- Technology Showcase

I visited the Technology Showcase before class and it was a great learning experience. I had a hands on experience with the different types of technologies used in our schools today. I got to use the three different types of smart boards. I used AR and VR. Those were very neat because I have never used them before and it was a new experience. I did get a little motion sick from it though. I also used the robots that are very helpful for the ones learning experience. They have a robot that records video and sound of instruction. They even have an IPad that gives you the ability to incorporate learning with different games. My activity notes: The equipment is very fancy and seem very expensive. I like the white board that plays games. It would keep the kids interested with learning. But if it was for high school kids the normal white boards would probably work best. My name is Logan Brown. I am from Jacksonville, Florida. I am a die hard FSU sports fan. I also am a big Jaguars fan. I love sports, animals, and food. A day in my life is pretty busy during the week. I work two jobs and a full time student. I am gone non stop until  the weekend. I love the weekends because I do not have work so I am able to relax and focus on some school work. But when it comes to the school work, I am such a good procrastinator! Oh and I LOVE to spend money, I am pretty good at that too. In the past I have not used too much technology. I am from the west side of Jacksonville so the funding was not that good. I am just used to white boards and some projectors. I have visited the sandbox here and it is very neat. All the educational technology is amazing and is making learning more fun that what it used to be. I wish I was taught with it because I feel as if I would have paid a little more attention to it throughout my learning. I hope to learn all the new gadget...

Persanolly I am not a fan of the flipped classroom. To me that type of classroom is far away from the traditional style that most everyone knows today. In the flipped style you kind of help yourself and others learn the material. You can do the learning on your own. Once you do the learning you come and explain what you know. This gives the teacher a way to make sure you have learned the correct material. It will also include more activities. I do not think this style is for everyone though. OERs are to help people learn but with out the nuisance of spending money all different types of resources. OERs give you a way to get some education resource from all over. From the site I was on they explain many types of OERs. They also give out resources for anyone to use. They organize the material as courses. The material is also for higher education.
